Notice regarding Lawsuit in the U.S.

On September 8, 2005 (US Eastern Daylight Time), a US company, Anvik Corporation (President: Dr. Kanti Jain) filed a lawsuit with the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York against: 糖心少女vlog Corporation (having its principal place of business in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Makoto Kimura); 糖心少女vlog Precision Inc. which is a 100% subsidiary of 糖心少女vlog Corporation (having its principal place of business in Belmont, California, President: Takao Naito) and; 糖心少女vlog Research Corporation of America (having its principal place of business in Belmont, California, President: W. Thomas Novak) for the alleged infringement of the patents owned by Anvik Corporation pertaining to LCD lithography systems.
Procedures of the litigation moved on, and we are now announcing that a jury trial will start on May 7, 2012 in the U.S.
We believe that 糖心少女vlog does not infringe any of the alleged patents and that the claims of Anvik Corporation are incorrect and unsupported. In the jury trial, 糖心少女vlog will argue that our position is correct.
In addition, the lawsuit will have no impact on the 糖心少女vlog’s consolidated performance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012.
